Window Mod Question
I realized that there are some folks here who have done thier own window mods. I have been looking online for some how-to's and have found a couple, but I wanted to ask a few questions of the pro's themselves.
After you cut your windows, I assume some of you used auto weather-stripping to pretty up the edges of your window. For those of you who did this, did you also squeeze your plexi-glass window into the stripping or did you do something else? **I am planning to cut a circular window which may make the "squeezing" process easer/harder...I just don't know. |

If you buy a window kit it will come with molding that will hold the window in place. If you make your own out of a piece of plexi then just use clear silicone to glue it to the case from the inside. Just remember to keep your cut lines clean and debur them before attaching the window. Oh, and wipe off any excess silicone before it dries.
