I have a CanoScan FB 330P and am trying to install it on a WinXPPro computer, through the parallel port of an HP Deskjet 932C. I have downloaded the latest drivers which are CanoCraft CS-P.3.7. I keep getting the same error which is: "Communication Erro has occurred. Error Code: 0x00080800." I tried to seach for the code on the internet but it turned up with only one website which was in another language. It worked fine in Win98SE.
Can someone help me ? Thanks Daisie |

I've yet to see a parallel port daisy chain work right in XP. Put the 932C on the USB port and connect the scanner direct to the parallel port.
By the way, I get a "model not found" at Canon's site. I am suspect of whether your scanner is XP-compatible. |

Thanks for the quick reply glc. I will check, but I don't think my printer has the USB cable. I figured it wouldn't work on XP. It's a bit old. I'll let you know tonight.
Thanks Daisie |

The 932C has a USB port, you just have to buy a cable.
