i know NOTHING about water cooling. .but it seems like you have a lot of money, so go with that corsair hydro cool or whatever it's called... I've also heard great reviews from the Aquarius III made by ThermalTake... And Koolance seems to be a good company as well.... Someone on this forum, If you search "water cooling" said that you cannot have two of those corsair water blocks.. so you can't do CPU and video card water cooling at the same time (i think)

if youre going to do watercooling....build your own setup. its much cheaper and performs far better than any kit you can buy .

yes, buy all parts seprate. i am going to be using koolance parts for my system. you need a pump, water tank, tubing, a radiator to cool the water, and blocks for whatever you want the system to cool (ex. HDD, CPU, Vid, etc)

i prefer closed loop over a reservoir system, frees up a little space in the case and evaporation is to the most very minimum.

Buying the parts separate... Would that be less expensive? And... are all parts universal? If i want to buy tubing from one place... but a block from another, will they work together all the time? or are their different standards i need to look for when buying the parts to assure that they work together?

I don't mean to be rude, but you can try searching for these things on the internet. And even though I've said it before - you're building a PC for the first time. Why not try to get it up and running nicely like the mailman will bring it to you, and when you get everything stable, THEN consider overclocking CPU, RAM, Video card, Case modding and water cooling ?

Making your own by spending alot of time in the machine shop with a whole raft of milling equipment and perhaps a lil welding equipment.... and...

Im thinking of trying the make ones own route myself except using Mineral Oil in place of water in an inline system put a block on my CPU, Graphics Card, Northbridge, and mabye the ram with a radiator and fan to bring it back down to near room temp then have another radiator inside the freezer of a minifridge to drop it below room temp....

"using Mineral Oil in place of water in an inline system"

Will Mineral Oil have a high enough specific heat to sufficiently cool a computer system? I would think not, but I could be wrong. I assume you could just run the mineral oil more rapidly through the system to get a similar effect as water, seeing as it would cool faster, but is there a specific reason for using Min. Oil?

Im not entirely sure if its specific heat would be quite high enough w/o having to get a really crazy gpm pump but I was planning on having to play with that... this is just mental musing mostly at the moment but it is tempting I have yet to bust out the chemistry books on it.

Basically Id use mineral oil since it was the first readily availlable electrically insulating but thermally conductive liquid that came to mind so incase it leaks theres alot less of a chance of it shorting out everything in my system.
