Mouse halts after each click
After every click the computer or the page I am loading freezes. I then have to wait 10-15 seconds for it to fully load or proceed with what I am doing. Is a Belkin optical .I have Windows ME,2.4 Celeron,256 Memory. Any help? Thanks.

ME has system restore so you can return the system to a date before the mouse began acting up.
But first though update and run Adaware and Spybot. From your description it sounds like you've got scumware on the PC. If neither of the above helps then it may be time for a new mouse. |

If you're using usb, you can try switching to ps2 and visa versa. I once got a similar problem and it did the trick. You can also try to use an other mouse and see if the problem is still there or check for the right drivers.
