Wrong Mainboard Temp

My Mainboard temp is wrong. Motherboard Monitor 5 says its at 0C and SiSoftware Sandra says it is at 195C! Do I have a defective temp monitor? My CPU temp and case temp seems normal. Can I fix this somehow?

Windows based utilites aren't always accurate. Check the temps in BIOS.

There is no motherboard temp in the BIOS. Only case and CPU temp...

If the BIOS has no temp reading for the motherboard, then there is no sensor for the Windows based utilities to get the temp from.

And normally you don't see something called Motherboard Temp in BIOS, you would see something called System Temp which actually gets the temp from a sensor on the motherboard.

"case temp" / "system temp" / "MB temp" are all pretty much the same thing; measuring the ambient temp in the case.
