Themal take, ps or no ps
Okay I am interested in thermaltakes tsunami dreamtower case, one model is with a ps, one without. Now I really want to buy an extra ps if I don't need to, here are the cases:
with ps: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...133-140&depa=0 without ps: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...133-137&depa=0 The system is going to have: athlon 64 3400 6800 ultra 2 x 250gb harddrives 2 gig pc3200 ram 1 or 2 optical drives Will the ps in the thermaltake handle it? Or should I buy the one without the ps and buy and extra ps? Which one is the better deal? The client told me he isn't going to add anything to the build in the future. Thanks! |

it should be plenty to handle all that. I think that even a 350w psu would do the job. If you want to save some money, you could always look at some other psu's (Antec, Enlight) and see if buying one of those would save you money. If so, you could then get the case w/o the psu

I'd go with it, a 400W tt psu (500 peak) will handle anything you throw at it. Excellent cases and psu's, IMHO

I agree with Refallon, i really like the look of that case. Sometimes I think thermaltake cases are over priced but $120 with psu and that style is pretty good.
