ok i have a budget of around 1200 and i am wanting to build a nice gaming PC this will be only used for gaming only and nothing else i use my Mac for everything else. i was thinking of buying a Raidmax 668 Case i really like the look of it from what ive read i was thinking of going with an AMD processor since i have heard its better for gaming but probly will go w/ and Intel and i was gonna get a Radeon 9800 Pro probably 256 i already have a monitor so if you would please leave suggestions of what motherboard and stuff like that i should get it would be greatly appreciated or if you think that there would be something better to get then what ive listed please leave a reply thanks in advance for your help

![]() First of all, AMD is not necessarily better than Intel at gaming - they all perform well. Generally speaking, the more you pay, the better performance you get. For the graphics card, you might want to go Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB 256-bit instead of 256MB 256-bit because the price difference is too much to justify the small performance increase. For the motherboard, the Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe or the Abit NF7-S are very popular for AMD Athlon XP CPUs. The Asus K8V-SE Deluxe and K8N-E Deluxe are very popular on AMD Athlon 64-bit processors with socket 754 (most Athlon64 CPUs)...the processor you might want to get with that budget.
