Need help getting front firewire to work

I have an Antec 1080 AMG (which has USB and firewire ports on the front) with an Asus A7V-133 mobo inside. I figured out how to get the USB to work, you simply slide the propper wires from the case onto the propper pins on the mobo. But I've added a PCI firewire card that has an internal port, and I want to get it to work with the port on the front of the case. Can anyone help me out? I consulted both the mobo and case manuals but they didn't help.

Thanks.

Can you post what you know about the wires from the front of the case (what the markings are on the connectors or the attached tag) and what the pin layout looks like on the FireWire card.

Im taking a guess here, but is the Firewire cable from the case ending in a bunch of pins and the PCI card has an actual port, bot a bunch of pins? If so, I know there are adaptors you can get.. somewhere... Im not sure where, but a friend of mine had to buy one recently, so I'll see if I can get him out of it.he remembers where he got it

Xiun is correct.

The case has wires ending in the plastic things that go over pins on the mobo.

The PCI firewire card has an internal 6 pin firewire socket.

How do I get these to connect?

Finally found it. a bunch of adaptors can be found here

http://www.frontx.com/order_a.html

You want the IEEE 1394 CABLE 1' - 6 pin M to 2x5 M I believe. kinda pricey though, might be cheaper to buy an old firewire cable, cut it apart, and splice the wires in.
