Question CD-RW question???

I prob sound stupid with this question but i am looking to buy a cdwr drive and wanted to know if any thing has to be compatible and if there is anything that makes the drive better.

Cool

Most here will recommend Lite-On CDRW's. I have two and have been pleased. I also have a couple of cheapies that have worked just as well.

I think a more important issue is the software that they come with. I prefer Nero and therefore pick drives that come with Nero software.

Lite-On CD-RWs are the only brand I use. They're fast, good quality and the lowest priced of the decent brands. Sure, Plextor makes a better drive, but you're gonna pay for it.

2. Is that compatable with my system
3. Are CD-RWs easy to install.

It is compatible with any motherboard that supports ide/ata 33 (I think), which yours probably do.

All you have to do is set the jumpers, screw them into the case, plug them in and turn the computer on. They don't even need there own drivers.
