I prob sound stupid with this question but i am looking to buy a cdwr drive and wanted to know if any thing has to be compatible and if there is anything that makes the drive better.

Most here will recommend Lite-On CDRW's. I have two and have been pleased. I also have a couple of cheapies that have worked just as well.
I think a more important issue is the software that they come with. I prefer Nero and therefore pick drives that come with Nero software. Chas

I would recommend liteon too . Had them since day one . top stuff.

Lite-On CD-RWs are the only brand I use. They're fast, good quality and the lowest priced of the decent brands. Sure, Plextor makes a better drive, but you're gonna pay for it.

1. Is that site safe (ive nvr shopped there) 2. Is that compatable with my system 3. Are CD-RWs easy to install. |
