Transfer of data
Hi
Could you help I would like to transfer a fair amount of data from my Laptop to my new PC i am not in any position to purchase any hardware could this be done via a cable if so what type of cable do i need Thanks for your help

This could be done if you network the computers. This can be done in several ways: using a crossover cable, for this to work both computer's must have an ethernet card. USB cable, or I think it can be done with a firewire cable. What OS do the computers have?

If they both have ethernet cards you can network them easily with one of these: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...duct_uid=43773 , I think that will work.
