I'm not familiar with CloneDVD, but you can try the DVDShrink/DVDDecrypter combination (both free) to copy the DVD and try it again.
Have you used DVD-R only ? If so, try DVD+R with DVD-ROM booktype, too.

DVD Writer

Hi

I have tried DVD Copy,Nero Recode and DVD Decrypter and nothing works i have tried all media types. This is a Dual writer,i have now toasted about 20 DVD media with no success but when making CDs everything is fine.I do suspect its a drive that is faulty, dont you think so?

Hey RJ, thanks a lot for mentioning to DVD Decrypter/DVD Shrink.

I just got a nice Pioneer DVD burner from a friend but was having horrible problems getting DVD Direct to work on my system. I downloaded these two free programs and they work GREAT!

Buy yourself a dvd-rw to copy to..this way if you stuff it up then you can rewrite and not make any more coasters.
Try the burnt dvd's in your pc using "windvd" or something similar to see if it plays... maybe your stand alone DVD player is the problem.
