need a printer
Hi. I am looking for a new printer for school. I have very limited budget so cheap is important. Basically I want it to be reliable and not go through ink like crazy. Quality is important too but it won't be used for printing pictures (not much anyways) so it isn't vital. thanks!

Look at the Canon i560. It uses 4 separate ink tanks, and ink is pretty cheap. It prints fast and with real nice quality. Newegg sells it for under $80 shipped, I don't know what it's going for in Canada.

I have an i530. Consumer Reports mag rated it FASTest in its Class. So the 560 is bound to be even better.

I also have the Canon i560 printer, it's a great printer for it's price. Prints fast and the text is clean and sharp.

Hmmmm, I'm seeing a pattern here. My Epson C80 died recently and my search for a new printer brought me to the same Canon i560. Good quality and performance for the price and the replacement cartridges won't break your wallet like Lexmark and HP. Mine does a good job.
