Hello

Iam using HP DeskJet 670C Printer and sometimes when i try to print any document, the paper gets jammed in the printer. Also another problem that iam facing is that sometimes when i try to print any document, nothing prints on the paper and it comes out blank and some strange black spots appear on the sides of the paper.

Can anyone help me solve this problem

Have you cleaned the printer to remove the dust and paper bits out of the gears/rollers?

So these are the only reasons for such problems?

Nope. Printer could have died altogether and went where dead printers go.

The black sopts could be from a dried upcartridge/clogged print heads etc. Do you still have the manual that has the cleaning instructions?

Could be a bad cartridge, if you dont use the printer fairly regularly, the carts can dry up.
Jamming can be caused by dirty rollers or paper dust in the paper path, Blow it out with Air and clean the rollers with a cloth and water.

Whatever you do, if you can't service it yourself, just get a new one.

What you can do yourself:
Take out all the paper, and cartidges.
Using alcohol and a q-tip you can clean the cartridge but it just make more sense to buy a new one.
Clean the contacts where the cartridge resides.
Very gently use a cloth or a q-tip (cloth is easier), and some alcohol and run it left and right a few times on that clear belt the cartridge unit is connected to.
Take a can of air and blow out the inside of the computer.
Put everything back in, but do NOT fill the paper tray, fill it only half way. That is one of many mistakes printer users make.

Are you having humid weather?

Sometimes paper in humid weather gets somewhat damp and sticks on rollers and other things and gets jammed up.
