Cool

I was at a auction and bought a box of stuff that included a pair of Midiland Computer speakers model MLI-190, however they did not have the power adapter. Need one of you elec. whizzs to offer suggestions for size of power supply. I opened one up and the speakers are 3W, 8 Ohm. Or maybe one of you have speakers like this and could tell me power supply specs. I have a 6V DC from a calculator and was wondering if that would work. Don't worry about giving it you best shot, I only paid $2.00 for the whole box of stuff.
Thanks
Chas

Almost all of the speakers that I have seen are 9v, 300mAh. It should say on the speakers, by the adapter plug-in. But I have a pair that doesn't, so maybe yours don't either. Also, it would help to know if the plug is tip positive or tip negative. Midiland's website ( http://www.midiland.com ) doesn't have an online manual for that model, but they do have an email address for tech support, so I guess if you don't find out anywhere else, you can send them an email.

Thanks for reply Jenni. These don't and I should have explained that I had already rummaged around the Midiland site and left a email to Tech support when i couldn't find what I was looking for, but being the impatient type, thought I would post here. Good to hear from you again though.
Chas

Don't know about the MLI-190 but the MLI-450 come with a 12V AC 1200mA 60Hz 25W model made by Hon-Kwang. There is also a 12V marking on the subwoofer where the AC plug goes in.
