missing hard drive files
I have a 40gb hard drive I use just for file storage. Its partitioned into two 2
(on my pc drives H and I). I have had it this way for the last year with no problems. Used files on it 2 days ago. When I tried to get files from it yesterday the files were not visible on drive H which is the partition I keep most of the files I use regurlarly. It shows 3gb of space is taken up which is about what was taken. Partition I seems to show all of its files. I am using winxp. But it looks like its the same in win98 |

?hidden files?
ok, i was just thinking do you have any one else that plays on that computer? if so they could have hid the files. try this going to tools and then folder options, then click the tab that says view, then go to hidden files and folders and click on the one that says show hidden files and folders then apply it and click ok, see if the files reapear, i dont know if this will work but it could have happened.
