laptop vs. tablet pc
not sure if this is the right forum for this post but im a student and i was interested in a portable PC that i could use for both notes in class and as a compliment to my desktop. I like the idea of being able to write on the screen and a having a lil more portablility with the tablet pc but i was wondering what kind of software runs on the tablet pcs... is it the same as a "regular" pc or does the software have to be specialized for the tablet pc... i have an Ipaq pocket pc and it doesn't quite fulfill my wants and needs so i was looking at selling it and purchasing either a laptop or a tablet pc... thanks in advance, -nate

If your unsure get a notebook that converts to a tablet.

My advice would be to get a notebook if you're wanting to use it for typing notes, but if you just want it to remind you to do stuff or whatever get a tablet... I feel that it's too slow to input notes into a tablet
