I want to locate and copy drivers and software for my modem, graphics card, sound card etc. from my old hard disk to my new hard disk. They are not held in a single folder but scattered all over the disk. I want to run a new operating system on the new hard disk so do not want to copy the whole disc across. I do not have the original software and the drivers I can download from the internet is no good without it. HOW DO I DO IT??? I can locate the programme names in add/remove programmes, but how do I copy this information to disk???

Is the operating system on the new hard drive going to be the same as on the old hard drive?
