BIOS vs. MBM temp readings

OK I only have 1 question really - when in the BIOS, is the CPU being stressed? I mean, is the CPU temp in the BIOS a max temp... the reason I'm asking is that my BIOS displays my CPU temp at around 45-47 C just after I finish running Prime95 torture test, while MBM displays my CPU temp around 60 C while running the torture test. before I downloaded MBM I was using Asusprobe which came with my A7N8X-X which usually displayed my CPU temp 5-6 C below what the BIOS would read. Asusprobe displays my CPU temp as 41-43C max load. so waddya think? heh

Well, the CPU probably has a few minutes to cool down by the time you check the reading in the BIOS. Either that, or the software isn't that accurate.

The asus probe software *should* be accurate. If not, see if there's an update for it on the asus website.

I checked the Asus website for an update for Asusprobe with no such luck. There is an update for Nforce2 but, that wouldn't include Asusprobe... I don't think lol.
