adaptec storage manager

Can anyone tell me how to use this software.
Every time i try to delet raid array says it is busy.
Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong please?

If you just created the array, it's probably still building. You have to either wait till it's finished building or abort the build before you can perform another operation.

Just thought of something after reading your other post - you have an OS installed on the array and are running the software within the OS. You cannot delete an array that's in use, you will have to use the controller bios utility to delete it. If your controller is an Adaptec, you have to use Ctrl+A to get in when prompted on bootup. You can only use the software to do certain functions, such as add drives, create hotspares, rebuild the array, etc. The other functions of the software will only work if the OS is installed on a drive that's not part of the array.
