Exclamation DVD burning, need help!

I've burned a few pieces of DVD-Rs with 4.37GB(4476MB) of computer data files yesterday, burning completed sucessfully but file verification failed, I need some help with this,I'm using Windows XP Pro, Nero Burning Rom 6.3.1.17, Samsung DVD±RW SH-W08A burner, and 4x DVD-Rs with no manufacturer ID, I have burned a few Mitsubishi DVD+Rs sucessfully, but this is the first time I've burned DVD-R, can someone tell me why am I having this problem? Thanks in advance

That is your problem. Noname discs are pure junk. A successful burn on them is like the lottery, especially with drives that aren't good quality. You have a Samsung burner and Samsung burners are - sorry to tell you, but that's what they are - drives of lower quality. Samsung makes good monitors, but not good drives.

I'd just stick to quality brand DVD+R. Since you burned them well, there is no need to burn DVD-R anyway, but if you still want to, use quality ones.
