Intel HSU bending MOBO
I'm trying to install a 2.4 Celeron onto an Asus P4VP mobo and when I start to close the clamp tighteners on the stock Intel HSU, the mobo starts the bend. The CPU is in the socket correctly.
Has anyone had this problem before and is there a correction outside of a RMA?

It's normal to have to apply a lot of pressure. Try to remove the mobo from th case and install this and other components onto a flat, hard surface.

Like fedz said, this is normal. The engineers that make the hsf's and the mobos take this into account, and make sure that the pressure can be withstood. Don't worry about it.
