speakers w/ USB headphones??
Is there any way to have both my speakers(connected to my c-media sound card, onboard), and my usb headphones to get sound at the same time?
right now i have to switch back and forth in sound options, only get sound out of one at a time. boston accustics speakers Plantronics DSP-500 USB headphones thanks |

I really don't see any way of doing that since most software can't use more then one "sound device" at once.
I'm curious why you would want to use your headphones and speakers at the same time, but I guess you have your reasons. ![]() Delta013 |

I am also curious as to why you would want both going at the same time. I may have an idea as to why though. If your C-Media onboard is like mine was there is an option to use headphones instead of the rear speakers. If that is what you are trying to do I don't think it will work with USB headphones. You would need standard phones that would plug into the line out.
