Cd Burner
Im using Nero to burn my cds. Recently after i reformatted my pc.. once in a while i get an error from nero that i could not burn the cdr.
Some error bout power calibration. Is my burner a goner?Thanks |

If the CD burner is a bit older, and you are using newer media, then it can happen. A firmware upgrade should fix that.

ive been burning using the same type of cd brand, imation from last time.. and no prob occur...the sound of the cd spinning is different too.

Brand means nothing. Imation doesn't make CDs, the manufacturer is someone else, and Imation just puts its own name on them. The manufacturer behind the disc isn't necessarily the same, even in a spindle.
Have you upgraded the firmware ? RJ |

Imation is one of the brands I've had problems with - try a different brand, with sufficient speed rating.
