western digital hard drive

anyone have a review on the performance of a 160 gb western digital 7200rpm hd? ty for your replies... (is this the right place to post this??)

My experience is that Western Digital drives are great performers, but I have no experience with this exact disk size. Performance wise, you will benefit if the model # has is WD1600JB as this drive has 8mb of buffer which is a big performance boost in my view over the 2mb buffer. You should easily find the exact performance data from WD, though.
