You can. But be aware that all 3 sticks will run at PC2700 speeds and you will not have dual channel.

i would just leave the 1 stick of pc3200 in and wait to get another 3200 stick as ur system might be slower after adding the ram

what is the fsb of your proc? i think there are 2 versions of the xp 3000 (might be wrong) and one has a 400 fsb and the other has a 333 fsb. if it has a 333 fsb, then it won't run any slower. i wouldn't do it if it has a 400 fsb though.

Not sure what you mean by this statement. If you add a third stick of memory, whether PC2700 or PC3200, to a presently Dual Channel enabled system using 2 sticks of matching memory, you WILL disable the Dual Channel. The good news is DC doesn't count for much with an Athlon XP system. You'll probably derive more benefit from the increased memory capacity than from the loss of Dual Channel. Only other unknown is whether the different memory will "play nice" together.
