hi there,
im wondering if anyone knows the advantages of both SRAM and/or DRAM. so far i have the following: DRAM - uses a cap and transistor to store, so it takes a bit more time to store because you have to charge the cap. - value stored will lose integrity over time, and thus needs constant refreshing - costs less SRAM - uses 6 transistors to store. so less time to store value. - value does not change unless deliberate change has occured, or power is off - costs more |
