2 HDDs one xp...one linux
Hi everyone can you help?
At the momment I have a 74 gig Raptor, running xp, suprise suprise! What I want to do, is connect up my old IDE hard drive, and install a version of linux ( not sure which yet ). So on boot up I would be able to choose which OS I wanted to use.My Mobo is a Abit Av8. Can anyone give me any pointers....Cheers. |

welcom to pcmech:
that is no problem, just install the second hard drive into the case and install the linux to it, it will detect the xp on the first hard drive and set up a dual boot menu. done it several times. and works great. |
