Writing zeros
Is there some free software available that will allow me to do a low level format of a HDD, U have a cheap Samsung SV4084H hdd that has a virus on it and I can't get rid of it.
I can't find any utilities on the Samsung site Would appreciate any help you can provide.

Mostly they were supplied by the manufacturers to tie into their specific branded drive. This normally comes as part of the diagnostic set of programs.
I have heard that people have used the IBM diagnostic set on other than IBM but I have no experience with it. |
