HD space is low

So im in SQL class going though DTS and find out I only have 855MB's left on my HD.

Now the HD it self is a 20gig and i only used a 5gig partition. The 15 other gigs is blank and unformatted.

My ideas was as follows Reduce the size the trashcan is allowed.

Or move my swap file out to the unformatted space.. or do I have to have that space formatted to begin with?

I am still not sure what you really want and how SQL is involved etc.

I try to explain things I understood:

You have to format it first. Without formatting, you can't use it.

But the OS are on the 5 GB partition, not on the 15 GB one. So just create a 15 GB partition and format it.

BEST thing to do is use Partition Magic and extend the 5 gig partition out to the end of the drive - then you will have a 20 gig partition.
