greedo what hard drive format would you choose for $300?

Dear pc geniuses. I currently have 2 hard drives with a raid controller. 1 hd is 10 gb, the other is 60 (7200 rpm IDE. I would like to have a very fast setup for around $300. What would you do?

WD 36.7GB 10k Raptor

Maxtor 300GB 16MB cache

I wouldn't use RAID at all. I would use the Raptor for my OS, and the Maxtor for all my games and everything else.
