I bought the wrong mobo!
Okay. I think I'm a moron. I'm building a computer for my sister for Christmas. Just a simple one for word processing and surfing the internet. I'm putting an AMD Sempron 2400 in it. Well, I bought this motherboard for it. As I'm opening my box from NewEgg, I notice that the motherboard box is pretty small. I imediatley got the little feeling in my tummy aying I messed up. Well, upon inspection, the mobo is M-ATX form, and my case is ATX form. I am assuming that they won't work together.
So, this will be the first time I've had to send something back. How exactly is this done? What's the process like? Will I have to pay for any shipping? |

A micro-ATX motherboard will fit and work in a standard ATX case just fine.

Good luck on the build.
I can imagine the feeling of thinking you screwed up and then the feeling of knowing it's no big deal. |
