I need some round IDE cables, ive been looking on newegg but i dont wanna slow down my HDD's. would this be the same as the 80 wire (or whatevr they call it) cable i have on the HDD's now?
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...104-507&depa=1 would this be good also? http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...104-006&DEPA=1 i may also be replacing my fans if i can find something quiet- i have two 80mm's in now but would like to replace with quierer ones that glow (blue or yellow) if possible, i also have a space for a 60mm in back. |

Yes, the first cable you listed is an 80 wire cable, should work fine.

On their rounded ata cables only 2nd day air seems to be available for 25+ dollars (Using their shipping calculate and my zip code-residential). Don't see how that equals out to be cheaper. 1.50 cable + 27 Dollars shipping + tax is about 30 bucks for a rounded cable. |

You obviously didn't read my post carefully.
When I used the calculator on the cables (and now several more products) 2nd day air was the cheapest. Few days ago I saw a product that listed ground shipping, but no more. Don't know if it isn't offered to my zip code anymore or if the calculator simply isn't displaying all the shipping options you have at check out. (insert smiley) |
