Fans and Round IDE cables.

I need some round IDE cables, ive been looking on newegg but i dont wanna slow down my HDD's. would this be the same as the 80 wire (or whatevr they call it) cable i have on the HDD's now?

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...104-507&depa=1

would this be good also?

Yes, the first cable you listed is an 80 wire cable, should work fine.

if youre interested in round cables you might want to take a look at www.svc.com. they sell them for next to nothing .

I think thats the second time you plugged that website. The first time I checked out the product in question and there was a 6 dollar ground shipping charge with (item).

On their rounded ata cables only 2nd day air seems to be available for 25+ dollars (Using their shipping calculate and my zip code-residential). Don't see how that equals out to be cheaper.

1.50 cable + 27 Dollars shipping + tax is about 30 bucks for a rounded cable.

You obviously didn't read my post carefully.

When I used the calculator on the cables (and now several more products) 2nd day air was the cheapest. Few days ago I saw a product that listed ground shipping, but no more. Don't know if it isn't offered to my zip code anymore or if the calculator simply isn't displaying all the shipping options you have at check out.

(insert smiley)
