This is a stupid question?

so like all the components go on the frame, and then a case goes over it. Is that called a case? I just want to get a new case to go over my computer. My case right now i white.

Uh...No! To change cases you will most likely have to pull the motherboard and all it's components, optical drives, hard drives, and floppy, etc and put them in the new case.

the case is the frame and the covers. to buy a different case, you will need to reassemble your computer in the different case.
