The case itself looks fine, although the fan ports don't look like they allow air to pass through very freely. And the power supply is a rebadged L&C power supply...that's not a good power supply at all. The power supply is one of the most important things in a computer and you don't want a cheap, low quality one in there. When cheap, low quality ones die, they tend to damage other parts as well. Good quality power supplies have protection against this and they don't have the reliability issues of low quality power supplies.

You can get that case. Get anyone you like. Just don't use a generic power supply or you will be sorry. Just pop in an Enlight 360w. You won't regret it. If you skimp on the power supply you could be looking at hundreds of dollars in replacement parts that the generic one burned up. If you want a good quality case with a good PSU included then THIS is a good one. It's not the fanciest thing in the world but it's well made and doesn't cost a fortune.

Actually, it would be best to move the DELL power supply over to the new case. DELL computers are somewhat proprietary and the power supply motherboard power connection may be wired differently from a standard ATX. If you connect a standard ATX power supply to your DELL motherboard, you could fry it.

Why do you want to move the DELL guts to another case anyway?

hey, thanks cricket, great idea. lol, now can you just tell me were the psu is? lmao. uhh, well dells are stupid in my opinion. I bought it like 2 years ago, and i didnt know much about computers. plus, new case looks better, main reason why i'm gettine one. The only problem with moving the psu over to the new case is that i'm getting a new video card, and i'm not sure if it will have enough power after i install my new video card?

It could easily mess it up. That power supply is made by Deer which is possibly the worst PSU that every graced this planet. It's a bad idea not to spend an extra $30 on a good PSU. It's cheap insurance. Like I said before it could come back and bite you then you really wouldn't be happy. What is the wattage of the PSU in your Dell? What video card were you planning to get?

As was already said you do NOT want to trust any system to the majority of the "included" power supplies that come with most cases...
If you are going to use the old PSU from the original Dell case then your fine.. In that case you can just switch it over with the rest of the innards...
That case is certainly nothing special (especially for almost $50) and you can do better without a garbage power supply included...
here are just a few suggestions from Amamax, they are a good vendor, and they have free shipping... just uncheck all the "extras" before ordering... they come with everything you need already...
http://store.yahoo.com/amamax/blatatxmicaw2.html
http://store.yahoo.com/amamax/poxcsi73atxg1.html
http://store.yahoo.com/amamax/cs1.html
-----------
If you do get a new power supply you can more than get by with one of these...
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...103-483&depa=1
I can guarantee it will be much better than the Dell PSU and unless you have a power hungry video card that will draw more than the average, this model will work fine for most builds...
what are your specs?

You'd be much better off with Radeon 9600 Pro for a bit more. It outperforms the FX 5200 by a wide margin. The Nvidia FX cards aren't very good performers and the 5200 is simply abysmal compared to other cards in that price range. If you can't afford the extra $30 then even a plain 9600 would be better than the 5200. You can find the wattage of your PSU by taking the cover off the case and looking at the label on the side of the PSU.

please avoid the FX 5200...its for your own good . if youre looking at building a gaming system youre gonna need more card than a 5200. an FX 5200 is about on par with an MX440 or so. youd be much better off with a 9600 Pro.

wow, are you guys serious? It got pretty good reviews. I dunno, i'll look into it. lol CM13, i have a 2350 to! mines an intel celeron 1,7GHZ <-- , 768MB Ram, pos intel integrated video card. Response to the video card reccomendations, i kind of wanted nividia also because it supports Directx9. does that really make a difference? I cant spend a whole fortune on my video card, i'm gonna check out the plain 9600 and 9600 PRO, thanks guys for the warning!

The Nvida FX series was a flop. Even Nvidia admitted that they were poor performers. The FX 5200 supports DX9 in theory but real world performance is horrible. The Radeon 9600 supports DX9 and performs decently. With that said, your best bet for a PCI video card is the FX 5200. A PCI card isn't going to perform very well anyway. It should hold you over until you can get a new motherboard/CPU.

I'm not sure on those two. The Radeon has faster memory but the 5200 has a faster core. I think either one would work OK since neither of them are anything to write home about anyway.
