Another must have is a soldering iron, solder, and a good supply of LED's for doing those subtle lighting mods

im doing a whole new UV setup--ordered fan grilles but neet something to cut them out. I dont have a dremel, is there any kind of attachment i coult put on a drill or other way to do it? to cut out the grilles i have now i would need to cut 4 sections of about 4-5mm per far (2 fans) so i really dont wanna buy a dremel for it.

You can get hole saws (they do 80mm and 120mm dia), ideally you should use these in a pillar drill but if you've got a reasonably powerful pistol drill then you can get away with that. One of the major manuacturers for those is called Starette (think thats the correct spelling), not sure on their website though.

Sorry, thought you meant cutting the fan holes, if you want to make through holes where the grill mountings go (you might be able to get away with a drill bit otherwise maybe a spotfacing cutter

For something that small you can simply use a metal cutting blade, snap one in half, wrap some duct tape around the end to protect your fingers and saw them off
I've even used tin snips... |

I think JPMiller is talking about a metal cutting blade for a jigsaw. A pair of them will set you back less than $5, probably less than $3.

yeah, sorry... wasnt too clear on what I meant...
I was actually thinking of replacement hack-saw blades... the metal cutting kind... you can often buy then seperately at a Walmart even for under a dollar... wrap some tape or cloth around one end to hold it, and then just use short even strokes to cut slowly through... doesnt take that long or much effort... |

...are a few other things you may need
