Builing a Computer
I'm going to be using this computer for games, watching DVD's, and want surround sound. I'll be playing Counter-Strike, CS:CZ, and other Valve games. I also want to use a television for my monitor. I am willing to spend about $1,500 on this computer. I don't need a monitor or a mouse.
Thanks, ~Ha)(oR.SkiLLz |

Hmm....I'll go with AMD. I don't need a keyboard either. I need some good speakers too.

Hello
this should work: CPU - Athlon 64 3500 MoBo - Abit A8V Memory - 1G - Geil - PC3200 HD - Seagate 120Gb - SATA Video Card - GeForce 6800 GT Optical - Lite On - Dual Drive 5.1 Speakers - Creative Thermaltake 480W PSU You'll have to pick case that you like - look for USB, Audio and Firewire connectors on the front With PSU a lot of guys recommens 420W Enlight, but Newegg is out of stock for those Most motherboards come with pretty good 5.1 onboard audio. So I went with 5.1 Creative speakers If you want separate sound card - Creative SB Audigy2 is very good. But then you'll have to get 7.1 speakers Don't forget OS - Win XP is $90 at Newegg Total without OS, Case and Sound card - 1,230 +s/h Good luck |
