pre mods or custom?

i can i just ask who has a pre mod and who has done it with there own skill

at the moment i have a custom job but im getting an antec *pre modded* i dont realy like the idea of having it all done for me but i like that case my case is just so small

Mix of both, I have a xaser III which comes pre modded. But i modded the rest myself. Top window, painted inside, removed fan grilles, added a fan to the side, custom water cooling system, and this week will be using auto paint and doing the outside. Pre mods are good but even pre mods need more modding

I had my case stock - then with FLG's help painted the interior of the case, and cut out some fan grills. Planning on a possible window and *maybe* a water cooling system. Upgrading the internals is at hand right now though (Probly going 64bit soon).

hmmm... kinda wonder how Pre-modded cases can be considered modded if you can buy them like that....

If the normal retail versions aren't modded. Mine came with a side panel, led fan with grill, blue led circle on from door, and 2 boomerand shaped things on door that light up red when the hard drives start spinning. Right now I'm getting more fans, working on lighting up the inside, and considering drilling a fan hole at the top of my case.

Mine came with just a window. ive stealthed drives, and am adding UV CC's with reactive cables, new fans, fan grilles, and this stuff that makes the cables look neater...ill try to post pics if it gets here...still no shipping confirmation

There pre-modded meaning modded by the company, most pre-mods just have a side window and/or painted interior and there considerd pre-mods.

I've always been into custom modding and trying to think up things that hav'nt been done before, I'm starting on a case refurb soon and will be putting my custom modded fans in.

I think the next step for mine will be an acrylic case, total load of wiring tidying and modifications (to reduce excess cabling) and of course the funky fans.
