What RAM should I use AMD K6 3D

Hi Folks
A bit new to the PC upgrade game, but my Sis in Law wants a CD RW put in her AMD K6 3D 500mhz PC. with only 64 mb of ram I dont think she has enough memory could anyone tell me the Max ram for this and what type is best

Hello and welcome to PC Mech,

AMD K6-II systems use SDRAM (plain old SDRAM, not DDR SDRAM). PC-100 or PC-133 SDRAM will work fine.

The max. amount of RAM depends on the motherboard, you you need to tell us which one you have. . or just look in its manual, it'll tell you want the max. amount of RAM is.
