Post Primary or Secondary?

Hello.

I'm about to start my first build
got the parts in front of me and I've gone through the process in my head but i have one question:

I have a CDRW drive and one (1) WDC 120gb IDE HD.

How should these be set? should i put the hdd on primary ide channel? or the cdrom drive?

or does it infact matter at all?

Standard way is to put harddrive on primary and cdrom on secondary.

That is all you will have available for IDE devices, so that is pretty much what U will have to do to run 3 harddrives and 1 cdrom.. Unless your system has RAID or SATA..

That sounds pretty good for no case fans. If you do notice any freezing problems in the future, you could always add a fan.

Congrats on completing for your first.

I would install at least 1 exhaust fan in the case to remove any built up heat. Get a low RPM model so the noise level stays low.

yup, ordered me 2*80mm fans, and one 120mm for the rear of the case.

there should be enough connectors on the mobo for this?

Don't connect the fans to the motherboard, connect them directly to the power supply. Use power adapters if necessary. You can find 3 to 4 pins adapters at your local computer shops.
