On my Laptop I have a 20gb hard drive and I would like to know is there a way to add a partition to this drive for backups and stuff without having to erase the whole thing first

Yes Cricket is right with the recommedation, but remember a backup on the same drive and computer from wince it came is not a backup at all, it's a game called doom.
Yes it is a good idea to put your data on a different partition so when you need to reload the OS your goodies are still there, but having it saved externally is the only true backup - dual backups in two bank vaults are better yet incase of fire or tornados. |
