Sempron Boards
Im building a system based on a Sempron chip. Will Socket A mobos that are rated to work for Duron/Athlon XP work for the Sempron? I realize that if the socket is the same, it should, but are there any know issues?
Thanks. |

As long as the motherboard supports Socket A, you should have no problem using it with a Sempron.

you may need a BIOS update for current socket A boards to be compatable with the Sempron.
