Post My new case MOD, log

I’ve decided to start a new case mod. I’ll update this post every time I make a change.

So, I went down to my local computer store and picked up a case for just £40 (not bad):

Looks like you used Plastikote Fleckstone.

If you hav'nt used the acrylic laquer on it then I really suggest you put some on otherwise the fleck bits tend to start falling off after a while.

Looks great.

Hard to see how well the paint came out with those pictures. Was really curious too since you didn't mention anything about sanding, or priming. (Curious because I might paint a couple cases and skip those vital steps in the near future).

I used some Plasti-kote primer. Really cheap stuff
I am currently writing a guide on how to spray your case (includes the clear sealer). I'll tell you when it's up.

You'd hope that wasn't his aim

And yeah, I can't really see what you've done particularly clearly in those photos... any chance of a bit of a closer look??

I've never keyed anything up before using plastikote primer or between coats of Plastikote paint, it seems to be optional

With Plastikote all you really need to do is ensure the surface has been fully degreased first.
