good fan controler and chipset cooler
im looking around for a good fan controller maybe with some temp readings or any other features. im wondering what would be a good divice and what to stay away from. any opinions would be appreciated, either experience or hear say. also i was wondering if chipset coolers and heatsinks for your chipset were worth getting when ocing. i was looking at this package: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/minochcokit.html
would this be worth getting? if not what are some good chipset coolers? for both of these i do have a budget so something cheap but of good quality is what im looking for.

For the second question: It probably won't do much. You're northbridge should already have a sink on it. A copper sink won't do much and its argueable whether chipset cooling has much of an effect if any. If you want to lower the temp as much as possible regardless, get a sink/fan or mount just a small over it. A 60mm should work, you can tape it or glue it to the heatsink you already have.
I hear Vantec makes good fan controllers, but they're just that I believe. 4 channel fan controllers. Coolmaster and Thermaltake make a few nice controllers where you get the works... a couple fans channels, temp read outs, lcd, all in one readers, usb and firewire. |

if youre not pushing some crazy high FSB, then you dont need a chipset cooler. i could still use my stock DFI chipset cooler at 250FSB....i just added a 40mm fan to it to be on the safe side.

Here's the fan controller/temp display I used in my oc project. My case is silver, an Antec P160, and it matched perfect. 4 temp probes and 4 fan contollers. The fan knobs and the display have blue and green leds.
