Hi
Am trying to recover digital photos from an SD card - they were deleted via the software but nothing else has been put on the cards.
Any suggestions pls?

Once you erase a SD card or any other digital camera card the photos are gone. Sorry

Maybe not. I used some recovery software a while back to recover some photos on a Smart Media card. Here's a link. You can download the Demo software for free and it will tell you what it can recover. Then you can chose to buy the full version and recover your pics. Good luck.

most of the time pic turn out ok but if you take more pictures with it your chances are less especially if you have a smaller card(there will be some grey clipping)

the one i use : Smart Media Recovery(its free) is great i even can find pictures i've taken months back
but as long as you don't put anything new on the Card the old data will not get erased thus increasing your chances of getting your data

Thanks all for the help.
I downloaded PC Inspector File Recovery (which is free) and recovered all my files.

Further on this, the way I actually found out you could rescue the pictures was that on my girlfriends digital camera there was a glitch where it showed all the photos that had been taken and subsequently deleted without new photos being taken... they'd appear as a blue screen
It was such a random problem, but it helped in the end
