AK73Pr0 M/B and AMD processor upgrade
I have a home built my brother made up for me a couple of years back. It sports an AOpen AK73Pro Board, AMD 1.0ghz MMX 3Dnow processor, 512Ram,
and a Radeon 9000 (IF) Prof with 128meg mem. Before I ask, I just want the moderator to know that I could not pull down the "Sticky" on the AMD stuff and they would not pull down. So....here is the question. How fast of an AMD Processor can I put on this mother board? I have a good video card to handle the gaming graphics, but now the speed is falling behind the requirements of the newer games, I.E. Medal of Honor Pacific Assult. Thanks, Jack |

Any Suggestions to how fast of a processor I can put on this Mother Board? I still can't find anything on the net about the maximum acceptable processor.

Thanks Cricket. Looks like I'm stuck with 1.4 max. Time to consider another computer I guess.
