CPU TEMP & CATHODE/LED SWITCHS

i have just set up my first build, and was wondering wether the temp of the cpu and mobo is to high, the cpu is a athlon xp 2800+ barton core, and the idle temp is 50 degrees c. the mobo is an asus a7v400 and runs at the temp or 31dc is this to high????

also does anyone know where i can find a guide on how to make switches to turn on/off cathodes and LED's individually.

lastly will i have just bought a coolermaster aerogate 2 fan controller, will any 3pin fan work with this?
thanks

I'm not sure what the average temp is for those processors, but as everyone else seems to say "if it's stable don't worry about it". My Athlon XP 2500+ idles at around 44 C.

Switches are really easy- you just buy something like this:

and then take the positive side of the light and hook it on one end of the switch and then hook the negative on the other end of the switch.

Any fan should work. If the fan has a molex connector you would have to buy a converter, or just wire it up yourself.
