Printer Colors
Please help me!
I am printing this graphics, and the print looks WAY different than the one on the screen. For instance, the REDS are all pinkish, and BLUES are all violets.. what the ?? The ink cartridge reports to be 75% full. The printer is a HP Deskjet 5150. |

What program are you using to view the pictures your printing? Sometimes they have something called Color Management on, and it might change the apperance of different colors depending on the way you have it set up.

It is printing from Microsoft Word. I made a graphic in Photoshop (in CMYK mode) and then imported to my word document, all looks the same, but print is different.

Try printing directly from Photoshop to see if that helps. If it does, then it's something with Word.

I really don't know...
I guess you could try turning off your Color Management if it is on and see if that helps: Open Photoshop (and your graphic) Go to Edit > Color Settings Change the top drop down box to say Color Management Off, and then try printing it again. |
