External DVD Burner and burning ?
My friend has a external usb dvd burner(memorex). she is having trouble lately burning dvds. it is taking forever for her to burn them. i'm guessing she just needs to change the way she is doing it. would it be longer to burn a dvd by using dvd decrypter, then dvd shrink to burn it? she uses clone dvd 2.0. it worked for her for the past month but lately its taking forver for a dvd to burn. her pc is 2 years old. I don't know the specs on the pc yet. Maybe if she got a usb 2.0 card and used that instead of usb 1.0. Any suggestions on what to try, say or do differently? thanks.

DVD's will take forever to burn on USB 1.1. You need USB 2.0 or Firewire to get any kind of decent speed.
