Crucial Ballistix RAM Yes/NO ??

I am planning to buy RAM for another build and was reading about Ballistix by crucial. Has any one have any info or uses this type of RAM?

ballistix arent bad...the use the newer revision Micron -5b D chips. theyre not nearly as good as Samsung TCCD or Winbond UTT memory....as these 2 can do tight timings at higher FSB. Winbond UTT needs very lkarge amounts of voltage to run tight timings, but even at 3.6V they run very cool. TwinMOS Speed Premium is relatively cheap, and uses Winbond UTT chips. youll need to get an OCZ DDR Booster for those though, since youll have to run 3.2V or more through them. another viable option would be PDP Patriot XBL which uses Samsung TCCD. they dont need the high voltage like the TwinMOS does...youd still get tight timings on 2.8V with these.
