Exclamation pc keeps shutting down then wont reboot

hi this pc keeps shutting down then wont reboot till cool so i added a case fan can you tell me what is good system temp????

bios tells me that sys temp is 47 deg C/ 116 deg F
cpu fan 4963 rpm

is this ok????

Don't worry about system temp right now, look at the cpu temps. You need to look at the HSF, make sure it is properly seated, and working properly, make sure wiring/connectors are clear of the fan.

post your full system specs.

how do i find full system spec what i posted whas all i could find in cmos

please tell me more

If you don't know what your system specs are, the easiest way is the download Everest Home Edition and install. It will tell you everything about your system and some.

Here is a screen shot of the sensor window for my system. I think the rule of thumb for all processors is to keep it under 60c, at load. Some cpu's run hotter then others. That system temp might be good, but what is your cpu running at?

put a new layer of thermal stuff on your heat sink that reduced my idle temps by 3/4 deg

There is nothing wrong with that temperature. If you system is running well and the temp is 47`C, I wouldn't touch it. You risk causing other issues by trying to fix something that isn't broken.
